Oh dear. Zero chemistry (I’d give it negative marks if I could). Couldn’t see why they had been together, or any reason for them to get back together. Nothing in common at all. Didn’t like the female lead at all - she acted the part blandly - terrible casting choice. Dull plot if you can call it that. Shame that Robbie agreed to do this film as I like him as an actor. I watched this film because of him but turned it off 3/4 of the way through. That’s how bad it was, I couldn’t be bothered seeing the end as had no interest whatsoever if they got back together or not.

Would give it zero if I could. Both leads unbelievably bad - bland, no chemistry, botox and plastic surgery galore. Acted out like a ham children’s pantomime. Was LL meant to in her 20s? I wish folk would stop saying she’s a good actress. She had 1 or 2 films at the start of her career which were good but time to stop dining out on that. This one isn’t even worthy of a hallmark stamp. There must be so many good actors out there desperate to show off their talents. Just watched holiday in the vineyard on Netflix, a much better Xmas movie and didn’t know any of the actors. But hey they could act. Kind of a prerequisite I would think.

It wasn’t very good in my opinion but does anyone think the actress who plays Brin is the spitting image of Meg Ryan and Naomi Watts superimposed together?

Who proof watched this? Really terrible wooden acting from the female lead who had a total of 2 expressions (predominantly condescending disdain) without anything about her to like. Am all for diversity and inclusion, but please, please, choose people who can act and suit the role. And despite being one half of a mixed race couple, I’m tired of being lectured to by TV, that all couples have to be mixed race. Full of un-likeable characters, zero chemistry between the leads, and silly inconsistencies that imply shoddy production (for example, a big thing was made of her being able to suddenly touch things due to rage, when she’d been sitting on a bench and leaning on doorposts before that). And the Phil Davies story? Added absolutely nothing. We lost interest early on but kept watching, thinking - surely this can’t be as bad all the way through. Spoiler, it was. Dull, dull, dull - probably the worst drama I’ve seen on ITV. I’d give it 0 if I could. Truly bad TV.

I’d give it 0 if I could. This is a truly terrible film. Dealt with sensitive topics in an insensitive and unbelievable way. Cringeworthy and creepy at times. Lynsey Lohan basically plays herself as a spoilt promiscuous woman, who although has a sad but predictable backstory, didn’t sell it one bit. She came across as the predator in the movie. I heard it took years to get it funded and for a studio to accept it. The director should have taken that as a sign. Truly awful.

Love a rom com and K dramas are particularly good in the slow burn arena, filling a hole left by western TV gone mad. Can’t seem to get enough of the enemies to lovers storylines. Will say again however, for the several K dramas I’ve watched, 16 episodes seems too long: 10 would be more than enough and a bit more palatable. There is so much padding and at 1 point in this drama, there are 2 characters doing basically a Domino’s pizza ad. Not kidding. It does warn you about product placement, but, well…you’ll see what I mean. I liked the 2 main leads although couldn’t fathom why the FL went from an Intelligent strong minded (not very likeable) woman to a simpering giggling teen when she fell in love. The tortured ML was incredibly charismatic and some of his scenes were heartbreaking, kudos to him. Loved the inclusion and respect of the elderly, the loyalty within the community, and the fact all characters got a decent story arc. Nice scenery and a cosy community feel.

Emotionally draining and dragged so much in the middle. Whatever you do, don’t binge watch it, you’ll cry for a week. The poor lead actress spent the whole 16 episodes crying, when she was happy, sad, walking, cooking, eating, shopping, riding a bus. She portrayed pain so heartbreakingly deeply. Hands down, the best character was the 7 year old daughter. Am really enjoying K dramas just now as there are some beautiful old-school love stories - however 10 episodes for each of the series I’ve watched so far would have been more than enough. 16 was too long and I found myself forwarding bits, especially the violence towards women and cruelty from some characters reminiscent of the true hateful villains in old Bollywood movies. Not sure I can manage another 16 episode series. Any recommendations? Loved Marry my Husband if you’re looking for a K drama to watch.

This film isn’t bad, it’s truly terrible. Which is a shame as Jake has clearly put in a huge amount of effort getting ripped. Am all for diversity and inclusion but please choose people who can act. Bland, wooden acting, none of the characters have any depth (they just sound bored), and the UFC fighter acts his scenes like a toddler throwing a tantrum. Dubious editing and direction. Couldn’t bring myself to care about the story or characters. Frankly a waste of 2 hours and a truly awful attempt at a remake.

We laughed all the way through season 2, not in a good way. Badly written, badly directed, badly cast, badly edited. This was truly dire. Bored, wooden acting. No chemistry. Scenes edited at silly moments. Sometimes you just jumped into a scene with no transition (Max getting into Archie’s car in the middle of nowhere?). Many scenes and the large number of red herrings made no sense. There was ridiculously cheesy dialogue at times, and unchecked mistakes such as people starting their lines before others finished. Other lines like “she’s unconscious. It’s suicide”. Then later “she’s awake” (referring to the same person) - had us scratching our heads. Was there no run through or quality check? Did you just say “that’ll do,” and toss it out there? This was sloppy and unfinished. 10 times worse than an afternoon B movie on channel 5. You were never in any doubt these were actors on a set, bored out their minds by the looks of things. Even the lovely Archie couldn’t carry it. I watched it as was unwell and had low resistance but that’s 6 hours I won’t get back. Series one was better. Since there’s a season 3, I really hope they’ve sacked all the apprentice level staff from this season, and employed more experienced writers, editors, producers and director. Oh and please bring it back to the uk. Honestly! This was laughable viewing….
