I have read almost all of Lisa Wingate's books starting with "Before We Were Yours". I could not wait for Shelterwood to become available to me to read but I was so very disappointed. There was nothing to make me feel anything for the kids/children in the book. Sadly I did not finish reading the book as it just did not hold my attention. I also did not care for the before and after storyline as it did not keep my attention either. Sorry but this is one book I was very disappointed with.

Most boring book I have ever tried to complete.......too long, not enough interest to keep me going but I will finish it.....just not my style and it won a Pulitzer?

I have read Danielle Steel for some years but nothing lately. I was given Royal and find it hard to believe it was written by Danielle. I have only read the first few pages but she repeats and repeats and it is not going to be an easy book to read. I am disappointed in this book but I will finish it..

I have almost all of her books but this one was hard to get into and stay with......did not care for all the dirty language nor the premise.......will most likely not finish reading........
