Laura Davenport

I've read some of the books and love the story and the world this is set in, but I personally find Robert Jordan's writing far too descriptive of everything and he labours too long on irrelevant details. I therefore find the TV show quite refreshing to watch as it cuts out a lot of the unnecessary. Love the actors for the most part, scenery is lush and I quite like the pacing. Not every episode needs to be all out action like some people seem to want. Few niggles here and there with changes to the books but that's to be expected. Husband has never read the books and is enjoying it. Hope they keep making this series and don't listen to the haters (really just the diehard book fans)!
