Visually stunning! The story was strong and the leads were charismatic and believable. But the villains! Dang! The US Government was a proxy for the evil empire! I was confused by the nuclear bomb in LA. Who launched that bomb? AI or the US Military Industrial Complex? A few plot holes, a great cast! I felt bad rooting for Allison Janey to die, but her character deserved it! It was a very entertaining and thought provoking movie!

Great world building and fun sets. The prodigy who plays Aang is an outstanding actor!

I absolutely loved this 21st Century fantasy! A human who longs to be useful, a child who is gifted with power that humans see as useless. The sexiest deaf ASL badass general ever, a blind pirate, and an elven warrior that is a proxy for all of us trying to see the world as truth and honesty. The villains are even multi-faceted! Pure hubris, misguided people pleasing, and blind devotion. Meanwhile we are all waiting to see that we contain multifaceted truths and need to decide to be decent, worthy, trustworthy friends and people. Terrific message, spectacular animation!

After pandemic. And the Russian invasion of Ukraine. And the rise of AI. Those periods are specifically timed. This movie was eight years… 8 years …. ahead of it’s time. SIRI could not even expect what I was going to say next. I had to type it by hand.
