Fantastic. True to the essence of Batman, if you are a Batman fan deep invested in its lore this movie will excite you with all the attention given to the minutiae. It is not an age encompassing movie like the marvel ones which in my opinion tend to be surface level and for the general public. This is Batman; grim, gory, conflicted, aspirational, determined and unwavering. He is admirably, painfully human. The movie depicts this wonderfully - the worlds greatest detective. My only hope is that they make future movies along these lines, not for the masses. This is how DC will flourish - by staying true to themselves.
