On the July 5 edition of the PBS Evening News, I listened to an interview with a Ukrainian child refugee in Germany. The boy's responses were heartbreaking. However, I believe some of the questions asked of the child were appallingly inappropriate and cruel. A person with any sensitivity would realize these children have been traumatized, and such questions
have no place in valid journalism. They are an embarrassment to the viewer.
