Great album with a fair splattering of the usual memorable Baroness signature lines, like Baizley's shrieking repeated choruses and characteristc guitar riffs. So what's different, if anything this time? Starting with Baizley himself - I'm still not convinced by his narrated track Beneath the Rose, as good as the track is otherwise. Bass and drums are pushed to the front of the mix much more and there are some much heavier riffs, all of which I think are great being a bit of a metal nut myself. 5/5
