The last Fidget is a mystical,fantasy tale for 9 -12 year olds. I thoroughly enjoyed the story which encompassed the author’s love for the countryside and conservation of the environment. In a gentle way the story also emphasises the link all living creatures have with one another for sustainability. Any child who has an interest in such matters should enjoy the interaction between Tilly and the tiny imp and the forging of a great friendship.There are very detailed descriptive passages which will suit the more advanced reader but equally it would be a good story to read to a younger reader. I look forward to the next book in the trilogy!
