This is the perfect strategy game. Beautiful graphics and music, a story-line to get lost in, and an ending that will make a grown man cry. Really.
If you enjoyed Commandos, you'll enjoy this game even more. Similar, but better tactics, better controls, more options - more tools and more ways to complete a mission - and smarter game play. As an example, if you kill someone in Commandos and hide his body, nobody will care. In Blade of the Shogun, his friend might come along a few seconds later and alert on his absence. "Where did he go," he'll ask, and spend the next minute looking for him.
Well done!
