Good story line to back up the action in this western ! I thought it was well directed and all the cast did a good job in their positions I like the drama action mix that this movie has ! And it has a good ending that I like !

This movie depicts a lawman that has morals and a stern sense of justice ! Something we lack today ! Burt Lancaster was definitely the right pick for the role as Marshal from Bannan ! Not taking anything away from the rest of the actors they all played their part excellently as did Burt !
