it’s so refreshing to a see a young romance that was so pure, raw, and genuine. they’re performance and chemistry together was so realistic in love you’d find in real life that i’m in awe of how talented the actors are. with out a doubt i’m sure there will be a season 2. the representation, the story, the quality of love, it’s all there jam packed into this wonderful show. it displayed and depicts in all honesty the innocence of two souls finding one another and maneuvering through obstacles together and apart. also, how great is that a main character along with other characters have acne. showcasing that not every single detail needs to be air brushed, but perfect the way they are naturally. young royals connects to audiences on a very deep level from first love to realistic heartbreaks & betrayals. even the cinematography, some wonderful shots, alluring even. i’m so glad that the show offers not only queer representation, but having neurodivergent characters with adhd & aspergers, and how it intertwines with relationships. an “it girl” that isn’t your typical tall blonde white heiress but a black plus size queen. additionally, having actual teens, not youthful late 20 year old actors/actresses (which is okay if done well!) added so much to the story because it is a young "royal" romance. anywhom! young royals has done an incredible job that has hit every emotional button and more, beyond satisfied but not content because i think i can speak for all of the audience that we would love to see more! 10/10
