Honestly, it stuns me that this show was ever on. I respect that I'm an outlier, that a lot of people seemed to enjoy this. I will trust other folks, that this was comedy. Over time, I used to check in on the show on occasion to re-assess, and see if I would grow to like it. No dice. I'm sorry-- no cap. Maybe it's generational. I had the same problem with James Corden and Craig Ferguson. It's hard to elaborate, because I sincerely cannot isolate where the jokes were and explain why they didn't work for me. When someone's jokes don't land, the experience is simply listening to someone talk for no apparent reason. I wish Taylor Tomlinson, Craig Ferguson, and James Corden all the success in the world. I just didn't laugh.
