The brilliance we've come to expect from Scorsese is right here, once again, in The Irishman. While we see many of the Scorsese stamps- as it is another period crime drama from a soilder's perspective, the story is fresh, bold and revealing, and the acting is perfect. Pacino and Pesci haven't lost a step. This 3 hour, ten minute movie will, like all Scorsese films, leave you wanting more.
