I didn't know what to expect going into it, the writing style was very good, sufficiently descriptive. The story however is plain, I should've known, its literally called Normal People, although it's about atypical people trying hard to appear normal. The ending is also plain. However there are few interesting views about the world of the characters that the narrator gives throughout the book, you could read the book for those
