Okay hear me outt please..!!!!!!! It breaks my heart to see the reviews of people who gave 1 star and calling the movie “boring” “no concept” “no moral”etc while the story actually follows the authentic grounds of the famous myth that were told by our ancestors. It boggles my mind just to think how they made a supernatural movie by following the story based on the places that it was shooted on “The beautiful state of Arunachal Pradesh”. They didnt change anything like the name of the places, the tribe and the language itself were all real and not fiction. The story follows the myth of Arunachal pradesh “Yapom” a supernatural being of the jungle, whom we as kids had heard stories of from our grandparents. But ofcourse i never heard that yapom was a werewolf😂😂. According to the myth yapom’s looked somewhat like humans but they had bigger ears and white skin.we were told that yapom abducted people from the villages and kept them as pets. Some of them returned after months or years with no memories whatsoever while some didn’t. Even till this day if a person goes missing in the forest. We kinda say that “yapom must have taken them”.😬😅 its just a saying.(LoL story time over lets go back to reviewing). But ofcourse the movie wasn’t explicit,there were a few plot holes like 1. Why and when did the heroine come to Arunachal and why was she chosen? 2. Accelerated healing powers for the boy but not for the girl?? 3. Did the hero stay back at that place after his project was completed or did he go back? 4. I wish there were more scenes of the girl, cuz honestly the boy didnt seem to be much interested in her until he knew who she was.Not even once he asked the girl where she was from or how long she been staying there.He literally asked her nothing about her life or anything.?? 5.expected a little bit of mourning scenes for the girl 😢 instead of the stree movie credit scene?? Plot holes aside, i actually enjoyed the movie. It was so so so much better than brahmastra, kgf 2 nonsense. Most mainland indians might not like the movie due to their little knowledge about north east and arunachal pradesh. But we know how good the movie was and trust me it was worth watching.
