Compared to the rest of books which contained Holly's appearance, this book seemed to lack her characters history, while switching narratives between oversharing the lives of the criminals and removing most suspense, and surprisingly not going into the fact of her smoking addiction while covid was in full swing was mind boggling! I had higher expectations, i hoped the suspension near the end could've been prominent throughout the whole story, but the character writing was too matter of fact - lacking - and ruined it for me.
