Its an amazing show, with the concept of family drama which was way overrated. The first season is awesome and captivating unlike the second season which is boring and way unneccesary. The family fuss should have been more like the one portrayed in dynasty which is more realistic. I fell in love with the part of Conrad Grayson, his way of handling situations and his arrogant nature. Emily Vancamp does a great job too but her character is way too dominant over all the others which makes the whole show focused on her. I also love that a great real love relationship was born from the show. Otherwise its a fair TV show.

This is at far the most captivating drama TV shows I have ever watched. Its on my top list of favourite shows. I totally fell in love with all the characters straight up from season one. I kinda got angry when they had to bring a Cristal 2.0 but otherwise the show is awesome and amazing. Straight from the first season the show is full of humor and unexpected events. I personally love the kind of relationships portrayed on the show, how Blake Carringtin interacts with his children. The aspect of father_daughter competition in rich families is portrayed on the fullest ranks possible. The strayed away son who turns out to be an illegitimate child (Steven turning out not being a Carrington).. Is soo relatable to the messed up rich American familes. Sam realizing his American dream through manipulation which ended up being true love between him and Steven is also another aspect that I enjoyed in the show. I was quite angry when they had to cut off Natalie Kelley as she was soo far my favourite.. I love how Fallon is a spoilt child but does not wait for anything to be handed to her but insteads works for the things she needs and bulldozerers her self to the top. The show also provides a strong feminist perspective which I loved. The casting of the show was also awesome.. Starting from Grant Show all the way to Raphael de la Fuente(who is by the way my favourite) they all do a great work in the show. Alexa was quite unnecessary at the beggining of season 2 but did not dissapoint us by being one of the greatest manipulaters of the show. The mere fact that nobody wants her around and yet she walks around confidently as if she owns the entire world makes me smile whenever her scenes appears on my screen. By the end of 12th episode in season 2 she was another person making the already interesting show more interesting. Introduction of the new son was also very unexpected (as in season 1 we thought he was dead) and also very exiting to the show. 👍👍thumbs up for the entire production team.

Although its a spin off of the vampire diaries I think the producers(Kevin Williamson and Julie plec) did a great and better work on the originals as compared to The vampire diaries. I love the characters on the show but mostly Klaus.. He brings out the best in the villains on the show. Hayley (played by phoebe tonkin) Is also one of the most lovable characters in the movie. The originals has proven to be my favourite show for the last 8 years since it began.
