Another review said it perfectly —-this actor dug so deep for this character that he spun pure gold. What Kris Jenner did for Kylie marketing, this actor did to this brutal, soul crushing story. It won’t just stay with you—it’ll change you. Let it.

I ❤️ Joaquin! And I want hm to win the Oscar he so deserves! I thought his performance was excellent. Remember, he’s a human who’s madness is the star of the movie. I thought he did a stellar job at jumping between 5 diff personalities! I thought the writing could have been better. I wasn’t crazy about the vaudevillian music bc it made me go to yet another dynamic to absorb. Joaquin was excellent. It’s a lil slow but again it’s not Joaquin’s job to create the tempo. What isn’t positive is not Joaquin’s responsibility. It’s worth seeing bc if you’re a Joaquin fan, you will appreciate his performance. Give him the Oscar that he is waaaay overdue.
