This excellent series not only takes in romance in time of conflict but also highlights the Rif War in the 1920’s that is not all that well known. It contains an interesting history lesson that highlights the background of a low level dispute between Spain and Morocco over Spain’s two North African cities of Malilla and Ceuta.
