This is disgusting!! Literally watching it right now & was in shock when I saw she was in school and he was a teacher in training. Then finding out it gets worse cause she was in middle school. He literally groomed her. Taking her out to eat privately, then testing to see how much he can get away with by touching her then calls her pretty. Having lunch alone with her all the time. Trying to be an adult she can rely & depend on because he knew she had a strained relationship with her parents. Then he goes to her house because he hadn’t heard from her (stalking) then as her parents kicked her out he took advantage of it, Saying he wants to marry her but clearly he still needs her parents signature saying he’ll be back with documents meaning she is still underage at this point. He even said he fell in love when she cried back when she was 14 years old, and said “you were in junior high so I held back.” This is pedophilia and you need to stop trying to normalize to it.

This is based on true events & I’m glad that this movie is spreading awareness about the horrific experiences the children endured and how a teacher and a human rights activist brought justice. But in making this movie sexual abuse was inflicted on the children actors. They showed scenes of adult actors rubbing the naked body of a little boy specifically on his butt. You can make a movie about sexual abuse of children without actually sexually molesting and traumatizing the children actors.
