It was a little hokey at times but an hour and half run time went by pretty quick, it was entertaining but not mind blowing. Ended abruptly and should have had better closure. Was worth a matinee price.

Probably the best Western series I have seen. Hard, gritty, sad, feel good, would recommend to anyone wanting see a really realistic portrait of frontier life.

Watched the original faithfully many years ago, had to buy my first M1911 and joined the military because of it. The reboot is okay but I think they missed the boat on a few things. Higgins is supposed to be a constant antagonist and should not have been a potential "love interest" for Magnum as it"s looking like. Higgins military background was important to the original show as it gave him some credibility. They should have made TC a female (if they truly felt the need to have one) with attitude and not Higgins. Leslie Jones comes to mind. Rick is still Rick. As far as Jay Hernandez goes in the lead role, he's alright but if you can't bring back "the stache" then at least a goatee or something and not looking like the average person. Just my 2 cents worth.
