Lyrics are mostly about the Tom's & Mark's issues with each other with some girl relationship stuff thrown in & missing the past & a nice sprinkling of vulgarity for the sake if vulgarity, which I'm all for & helps keep the album from lyricly being too "sappy". As someone who's about to hit 40 I understand the longing for simpler days. They do a nice job of mixing that feeling with their feelings about each other, feelings about the band splitting up & subsequently getting back together for this. At times the complete repeating of lyrics felt slightly boring but it makes since punk wise I suppose. F Face is great. But the best part of this whole album is Travis's drumming. Jesus it's good & doing double bass on this album puts it many notches higher than it would be otherwise. Travis's production is great too. He's definitely the GOAT here.
I didn't find any songs that I immediately need to have on repeat but that's just from a first listen & I think there's at least 3 tracks that have that potential for me. Turpentine being the top candidate.
