Philip Messina

The actress portraying the young female Comanche holds her own and in many respects surpasses other movie heroines I have admired. Even eclipses Arnold Schwarzenegger' Predator role. This movie grabs you and doesn't let go.

Pretty formulaic. Most scenes anticipated. Character arcs predictable -- you quickly determine how to segregate the players on a root for/root against scale. The bunny rabbits were a good touch. Could use just a bit more background/clarity (just a few more lines of dialogue) on what was behind the animal transformations. Roxanne McKee gave a very relatable parent-doing-her-best role.

A great live action retelling of the Mulan story! And the casting was excellent. Very good development of Mulan from a girl filled with reckless energy to an alpha warrior.

Chloë Grace Moretz is great in this! Yes, the story progresses into the unbelievable, but it is VERY entertaining. A key take away: never underestimate the resolve and strength of a determined woman with skills, especially if your a man that subscribes to women as the weaker sex. I recommend you suspending disbelief and enjoying a non-stop action flick that shadows Twilight Zone's "Nightmare at 20000 Feet", and an airplane manuever that rivals Denzel Washington's in 'Flight'.

I think this Alien movie is on par with the original Alien: Interesting, compelling characters and a great storyline. A very believable heroin to again root snd hope for. Recognizable elements: objects, spoken lines, the use of a familiar synthetic science officer model, and inclusion of a conflicted companion synthetic kept things very interesting, with just yhe right touch of familiarity. Excellent nerve rattling action. I know I will watch this again and again, as I did the original over 40 years ago.

Bryan Cranston is INCREDIBLE. And the rest of the cast was very well chosen. And the interwoven story lines kept me fully engaged. Recommend this series to anyone looking for compelling characters and complex interactions.

When I suspend disbelief, still expect some things to be more realistic. Like being able to keep using a stolen yellow taxi throughout the movie, license plates or not. Should have changed vehicles. And the bad guy was cursed for stealing the spider? It seems all his random victims, like all the subway police, were the ones cursed. And what is the story going for at the end, a female wheelchaired Professor X, leading a group of spider women?

A view of WWII events and unsung heroes most classroom histories do not give enough exposure and detail.

I don't understand the low Rotten Tomatoes score. As the movie progressed I became more and more engaged. Some plot elements may feel familiar to other movies of this kind, but Ewan McGregor and Michelle Williams did a fantastic job!

Very slow pace. More a story about a family horse business and their dynamics. The special character was disappointingly NOT scary at all. In fact, it was rather crudely rendered. The actors gave good performances, despite the plodding plot. Not really sure just how the special character was finally dealt with as it blew away looking like laundry caught in the wind. How did this get the positive reviews and Rotten Tomatoes score?
