It is necessary to have watched Breaking Bad to fully appreciate BCS, but that is not to say that BCS is just a feather in the cap of Breaking Bad. BCS is its own thing and goes off in its personal, unique and fantastic direction. The depth of development of the characters is Shakespearean and the cinematography is compelling, with similar jaw dropping twists in the story as we saw and loved in Breaking Bad. The moral dilemmas of the characters and of the viewer who is constantly conflicted as to root for the good or the bad guys throughout the show. BCS is truly one of the great shows and the journey I had watching it was deeply fulfilling and easy to give five stars to. One small negative was perhaps the first season; it felt a bit like it did not know what it was going to be. Therefore; if you struggle to get into it, but loved Breaking Bad, stick with BCS.
