So after be coming restless waiting for a Bumblebee sequel I decided to go back and watch any transformers series or portions of series I had not attentively watched previously. Since Earthspark was the current iteration at the time I started there. While clearly being created for a younger audience, the action... Familiar characters... Inclusive representation... Pulled me right in. Twitch became a favorite and led me to purchase the deluxe wave that was already on shelves at Walmart and more. Even the thing that was hating from day 1, Megatron being a good guy, grew on me although I have to admit I'm secretly fearful or maybe hopeful that at some point Megatron will turn into the Megatron we all know and love. The writing of the series is very well done and the storylines and arcs are immersive. If you are a Transformers fan or have children that enjoy colorful cartoony animation you will find much to love about the show. If you take yourself too seriously and seek to or tend to read too much into some of the themes of comics or cartoons then just give the series overview a glanceover to see if it's your cup of tea prior to watching . Aside from that it works as a great engaging entry to the franchise as well as a one off or stand alone series that young kids, newcomers and adult fans can all find enjoyable.
