Without prior knowledge of the story line of the amazing books that this movie is based on I think people will be pretty confused. Went with 5 16 year olds who had no prior knowledge Spent a good bit of time explaining so much of the movie to them. The sets are beautiful, acting spot on. 2 hours and 40 minutes is a long time to set up the 2nd movie. If you go, learn as much as you can about the story line
