Might have made an ok 2hr feature. Needs a lot of cutting and some exposition so we can follow the story. Didn’t realize it was a trailer at the end until it was halfway through it. Trailer looked desperate, shouting at us “wow! Look what’s coming next!” I have a feeling the other chapters might start with eleven. Disappointing.

Still an hour to go and not sure I’ll finish it. Excellent period piece costumes,settings and battle scenes, if only we knew who was fighting whom and why. Doubtless $100-200M spent on these scenes; perhaps a few more $ on writing a coherent script would have helped. Disjointed, mediocre acting by the lead, and overall, flat.
