Joe Abercrombie is the dark lord version of Shakespeare if you could imagine such a thing. The Mike Patton of novelists! The Stephen King of fantasy! I have him tied up with Brandon Sanderson as my #1 favorite author! Moves faster than the first book in the series, and since the groundwork has already been done, you can see the action more clearly now than before during the necessary introductions! A must read if you enjoy Game of Thrones or Stormlight Saga. Enjoy!
