The story deals with a moral duty of a doctor.The duty of a doctor is to save a life whether the patient is a gentleman or a criminal.Here in the story,Dr Sadao is a doctor.He has saved the life of an injured soldier who is an enemy of his country.After saving his life,he wants to do the duty of a citizen.He wants to hand over him to police.So,he has done double duties here.Moreover,the story wants to highlight the importance of human values.It is a great job to serve a man.No one is our enemy but the situation makes it so.But we can change it if we prefer human values to war.
