Genuinely cannot understand how this movie has such high ratings, from both audience members and critics. So many plot holes, if you can even say there's holes in the plot because the plot is almost nonexistent. Terrible acting, so many unanswered questions, the name of the movie doesn't even make sense. The title character isn't obscenely tall, the dolls he makes don't have weirdly long legs, there's just a single line at the beginning of the movie where he says "I've got my long legs on today", then cuts away. What does that even mean? No connections get made at any point. 0/10. I actually have a headache trying to make any sense of this movie.
