This movie is not worth anyone's time. This movie takes away the entire purpose of Ray Bradbury's message. And yet, here we are. Having made a movie about Fahrenheit 451 just confirms Bradbury's prediction of the future. So many people have preferred to watch the movie instead of reading the book, simply because they "do not have enough time." In Fahrenheit 451, Captain Beatty is giving a speech to Guy Montag about why books are insignificant. One of his points was that it takes too long to read, so people would much rather watch things on TV. Additionally, this movie was a terrible adaptation of the book. The plot was massively edited, and the characters' motives were all jumbled up. The fact that so much was changed for the purpose of making an action movie is disappointing. My whole point here is, shooting a movie on this novel pretty much throws away the whole purpose of Fahrenheit 451.
