Not a great film by any measure. Some character motives were extremely poorly developed, which left dynamics between them and other characters feeling forced. The plot is a generic prophecy tale told in a worse way than most prophecy-based stories. The cinematography stands out as the best part of the film, and there are some great performances from the cast. The lack of cohesion diminishes them greatly though.
