It was so fun. I was sitting also in a 4DX cinema at Red Rock and didn't know I'd be on a roller coaster ride and get water splashed at me. I really enjoyed the stimulation- I've always liked fast rides. Now I can't think of watching movies without those seats. I can't imagine a better Ariel than Halle. It was such a good story and so much fun to watch. I really like that they made the set in the Caribbean with a tropical African vibe. Everyone is right to critique the cg of the animals (they and the voices could be better) and I think the underwater environment scenes could be even more beautiful and splendorous. It took me some time to warm up to Eric cause he seemed a bit older than Halle's Ariel but then I really got hooked to all the familiar songs and it's just one of those masterpieces and a phenomenal setting. Id watch it again even right now. It was so much fun.

This was the best $69 I ever spent in my life! I just got done designing my Room of Requirements the first time. It doesn't seem like it from the previews but the game is stunning! The main story arc and quest is so strong-probably the best part about this game is the main storyline. And there's just so many details packed into all the locations -it's blowing me away. I love my character and it really feels like I'm in my own movie. (I thought it would feel like doing chores like the app game but it's like nothing else HP has produced). You can do everything HP related here: fly brooms, make potions, go to classes, explore the grounds and the forbidden forest, shop at Hogsmeade, death party with ghosts, duel. Then there's so many clothing options that you pick up everywhere and pick up talents/skills which are beautifully illustrated. The second best thing about the game is just the magical accents/like the movements for spells and the way the objects twist and turn. The effects are spectacular. The third highlight is that the characters/people look so good in the Unreal Engine. It's my favorite rendering of people. The cinematic scenes are so nice. Some of the fighting/enemies and sets reminds me of God of War (the reboot) while the wild areas remind me of Witcher. That's how tough it can get right from the start battling enemies. It caught me off guard. It doesn't feel like an RPG but really like a good open world. The characters are actually charming though they could've been named better. I like them. The only improvements for me: some of the hallways feel too ivy league college like therefore surprisingly mundane (maybe it's the classical music and marble), the kitchen was a bit dreary and let me down, imagined the forbidden forest/library to be different, but mostly: the map could look better and be easier to use. But there's an insane amount of detail that went into this game - it's magical that it exists and functions so well! 11/10 The best game I've ever played!! Wish I could choose my own Patronus in a future game. Update: The season changed and now it's gorgeous fall in Hogsmeade and around Hogwarts. OMG there's a mini game where you can remodel your own Room of Requirements (mine is very Beauty&TheBeast meets Sleeping Beauty like) which looks phenomenal and transfigure designs and colors and add props. I just had the best time cause it'll unlock a quest series where you can be like Newt Scamander and collect wild beasts and take them back to your own Vivarium. I even got a shiny Jabberknoll and am stoked to catch a niffler or unicorn next. You can collect pets basically and gather materials from them to upgrade your equip which is great cause I really like my go-to uniform. It made me realize just how large this map is- there's little communities I'm supposed to go to and now dens. Ive been flying my broom around (also upgradable) instead of exploring. Wow they put so much work into this game!

Dr. Strange is the only Avenger's arc I'm dedicated to (liking Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy also). So if you're like me and like those quirky spin-offs the best- you'll have a fun time. It was everything I needed right after watching a more sombre and disciplined Top Gun. Dr. Strange. My favorite Avenger. Mysticism, hidden temples, and my favorite CG effects with his sorcery. Like with the whole franchise- the directors manage to pull off silliness and brilliance and though it's not unusual now for the heroes and these directors to be really let loose- I like to think this flex started with Dr. Strange. This one started a bit cliché and I thought really kid-friendly (the design of the first monster) and then actually veered into creepy and actually tense-terrifying (Scarlet Witch). He's smart like a surgeon and stylish like a warlock but hey there's striking illusions and witchcraft and some bad decisions with his love, always a very smart Christine, and it reverberates through multiple universes and multiple hims. I was pleasantly surprised by the surprise hero appearances... I wasn't expecting the horror element but have to give a nod to Olsen's acting. If you really think about it- it was phenomenal. And I think she pulled off a somewhat sympathetic but maybe the scariest and most powerful villain so far: could have gone further than stoic huge block Thanos and Cate's Hela. You can almost classify this movie as a horror towards the middle and there's a nice Frankenstein note and a hellishly cool cape sequence. Speaking of notes- that was probably my favorite scene in terms of effects (when he fights with ...end spoiler). Spoiler warning: I do feel like America's powers made the first Endgame movie and all of Ant-man's struggle getting to the multiverse moot. But I haven't seen the newest Spidermans so I'm not sure if I'm missing more context there.
