The candidates were really good. I was quite disappointed to see the prize money being so low for the winner and the other 4 candidates. The show has been going on for more than 6 months and had a TRP, wonder why the organizers could not give to the final 4 some reasonable amount of Rs. 10 lacs each and some other electronics / big appliances gifts. It was so cheap to give Rs. 5 lacs and 3 lacs to the 4 left. Did not expect Sony to be so cheap. All the 5 singers were excellent and it would not have a big surprise if the second spot could have been a tie, leaving all the 5 as winners. They all deserved better prize money and some substantial gifts. Would advise the organizers to advertise in advance the prize for all the 3 winners for their next Indian Idol contest, so that the viewers also know whether it is worth the time spent on watching the show and giving the organizers a good TRP. I do agree with one person who said that Manish Paul was promoting himself too much. Kuch zaida ho gaya tha. I wish the organizers should respond to this review.
