This is my favorite movie of all time! To me its not a tale of forbidden love but a tale of how people shouldnt govenrn other people like that. Her father the king just treated her like a chess peice deciding who she should marry. People should only marry because they want to not because of political gain! I felt bad that tristan and isolde loved each other but because of the laws of their kings couldnt be together :(
