This isn't as much a sequel to the first Avatar movie as a sequel to the National Geographic's Secrets of the Whales. Like Secret of the Whales it's full of beautiful underwater shots and amazing scenery. And like Secret of the Whales it doesn't have a coherent story line or character development. It's less of a sci-fi blockbuster movie than a fictional nature documentary, but it's pretty good at that.
