Errrrrm, I started watching it and felt that I'd obviously missed about 15 minutes at the beginning, but no, it just throws you straight into the weird concept of a man talking to a small girl asking her to join him... no back story, no explanation, nothing. It didn't really explain why a small girl would willingly live with a stranger for years and then kill for him. Shame, because after the weird beginning it developed into a half decent film. Abigail Breslin is obviously gorgeous (no reviews seem to mention her being in Zombieland 1 or 2 strangely though). I do like a revenge film - just a shame that it could have been better. 15 minutes longer with a believable backstory and you'd have got yourself a winner...!

Lacklustre, watered down, not a film for children I would say. Sad in places (for dramatic purposes only). If it didn't have the Disney logo at the beginning I would never have thought it was a Disney product. Very disappointing. Not a film to watch over and over again. Why do they turn cartoons into live action?
