NO SPOILERS HERE - DO GO WATCH THE MOVIE, ASAP.
I don't ever leave reviews for a movie, but this one is a masterpiece for me not to leave one.
From start to finish, this movie was piece together perfectly. No scene felt too much, too long, or undeveloped. The raw emotions from the cast, the music and transitions, and the jokes all mixed perfectly to make what will be THE (not one of, but THE) biggest movie of this decade. The movie took you from sad, to laughing, to gasping, to everything! I've seen movies where I'm bored until the fighting starts (by which time I've already turned off the TV or walked out); or movies that try to be comical, but the punchlines don't land. You'll not get it with this movie - every aspect of your emotions will be felt, genuinely.
Ryan Coogler is a genius in his own right and I'm so glad that he's at the helm telling the story of a fictional, but beautiful, powerful African nation, alongside its counterparts in Latin America, or underwater, should I say.
I look forward to the next movie in this Black Panther series.
