I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, although I must admit that it became a bit slow-paced in the middle. The constant back and forth, along with some events that seemed unrealistic: SPOILER (like Adam's trip to the gas station and the 24-hour window before anyone found out), felt a bit forced to me. However, the ending more than compensated for those shortcomings. The transformation of Sarah, from a victim to a psychopath, was incredibly swift and made for a captivating read. Overall, it was a fantastic book.
