Similar to what others have said already, I've watched he man since I was 5 yo and the show lacks what made me a fan. He-man was strong in might but mostly character. He never compromised lives and was intelligent enough to succeed without doing so. All the fights were overly simple and honestly many fights were over w one mediocre punch or hit, unless teela is fighting. The character deaths were senseless. Great character designs, casting, animation but that really doesn't matter if the story is flat, belabored and doesn't really show the star of the show He-man. 200x Mike Young did that very well.
