The gameplay was amazing, you could tell they put so much detail into the surroundings, the voice actors did an incredible job, and the overall shooting/stealth actual gameplay of the game was very fun. However the storyline was TERRIBLE. *spoilers* They killed of Joel right away then went on to make you play the killer for 10 hours trying to make you like her. It’s ridiculous. They could’ve made this game better with the sameish theme but all the scenes were in the completely wrong order to make you feel pity for Abby (the killer of Joel). The ending was the most disappointing. Dina left Ellie with nothing when she had already lost everything else. Also Ellie never would’ve even gone in the first place, she would’ve stuck by Dina. It was completely out of character. Dina sucked. I tried to like her and ship her and Ellie but the only characteristic she had was being pregnant. I’d rather have no sequel then have this game. It makes me sick that it’s cannon that Ellie, my favorite character is left like this. She couldn’t even play guitar anymore because Abby bit her finger off, which is all she had left of Joel. The game tried to put out a message that didn’t work out. I’m sorry naughty dog, this game had so much potential but I hated it. They could’ve at least put a moment in the end on where the player could’ve chosen to leave to kill Abby or not. That would’ve been amazing.
