NF got my attention with his lyrics. His beats and flow are great, but the lyrics are what make him stand out. They are so raw and so real! You listen to his music and think, “This guy is saying exactly what I feel but can’t quite put into words”. But he does it with no cursing and no unnecessary talk of inappropriate things. While he does have slow, emotional songs, his perception album had some aggressive bangers that I personally love, like “Know” and “Destiny” (which I wish he did more of) and also some slower songs like “If you want love” and “Dreams” (which is my personal favorite) and NF’s new album “The Search” carries a lot of that over, which I really enjoy. I like the more aggressive songs such as “The Search” and “Returns” but I also love the slower songs like “My Stress”, “time”, “I miss the days”, and “Nate” (especially “Nate”! Great song). Honestly, a fantastic album. I dont know if it’s better than perception (because I think that’s the greatest album of all time) but it’s definitely a competitor and another step in this artists’ bright future. I look forward to see what he goes on to accomplish. Stay Real Nate, and we’ll stay with you.
