The thing about a Godzilla movie is that, it's not really about families, scientists, or any person in particularly. A Godzilla movie is supposed to be about Godzilla and the people collectively. We already know what Godzilla is and how he looks like. We do not need re-introductions. What we do need however, is an in-depth effect of Godzilla to the world, or as they explained it, his world. We don't need scenes of people amazed glazing at him. We need to know more about coexistence and the system of it.

This by far is the weirdest and most annoying film I have ever seen.

The best superhero presentation against others in all mediums including films. It's a miracle that this exists.

What a good film, man. For once, Channing Tatum's pecs actually make sense and have a purpose.

Ricky Gervais is one of the smartest people in our time and this show is golden.

I thought I'd be disappointed after having seen some reviews. The concept seems fresh enough that it was pretty easy to avoid classic tropes from hero films. There's a certain uniqueness to the film that keeps you clinging and I did not expect this movie to do as well as it did for me. I found Foxx extraordinary in this film and JGL's performance is memorable enough.

If you want a movie that combines what every bad horror movie has, this movie is for you. STTTITD is the most cliché-filled flick for a 2019 film. With stereotypical characters and predictable storytelling, this just isn't needed. P.S. Cheap jumpscares

I said it once and I'll say it again, a Godzilla movie is not about families. A Godzilla movie is suppoed to be about Godzilla and his dynamic with the world. Though this movie was better in terms of going through with the concept of coexistence, the whole other subplot with the family's problem was not necessary nor wanted.
