Brilliant. Well written period piece. Although this is fictional, there are many accurate historical references. A bit dated, but therein lies some of its charm. Plot is woven beautifully with great character development.

Some suspenseful moments, but just wasn’t believable to me and there were simply too many feminist cliches. I believe in me kind of thing. Just didn’t ring true.
