This is it. I'm done.
(By the way, I only read "Twisted Games" and "Twisted Hate")
Based off of these two books, there is two common themes: possessiveness & dominance.
Not only do male writes portray the dominance of men, but as well as women, like Ana Huang.
During s*x scenes, the way it is described, it is always like the male wants more from the female, doing what he wants, and how he likes it. Before the scene even happens, the male and female are happy. Suddenly, when the mood shifted into the scene, the male feels dominant, and has to punish the female and some way (sexual or not).
For this particular book, I was more like forced to keep going. It took months for me to finish, compared to other books (the ones I'm really interested takes about a couple weeks.) Every five pages or so, there is a freaking s*x scene. The first one, I guess, for the "bucket list number four", it plot did kind of build up and when it happened, I was like "finally" (in a good way.) But now that they do it so regularly, I got so bored. Istg, the book would've been 30 pages shorter if it weren't for those unnecessary scenes over and over again.
The book, personally, also ruins the good romance scenes but using the s*x scenes too (though it only happened in some.)
The plot wasn't that bad, but because of this, it ruined the whole book.
