An amazing book full of the history we should have learned before now. What happened in this country during the 1930s and the aftermath of World War II should be more than a casual warning against the power of uncontrolled and denied Fascism. We are in another critical period facing the dangers of dictatorship, conspiracy theories and outright lies. And we must be aware of the fact that "Every time history repeats itself, the price goes up!" The cost this time will be the end of Democracy, the end of freedom and equality in America.

Enjoyable,sad, wistful and a great read. So much history and literature with something for everyone. Indeed, I give it 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
