Maybe the people who didn’t like this film just weren’t paying attention. Right from the earliest dialogue, clues are dropped that are important in understanding future events. We thought it was a brilliant examination of human relationships, missed opportunities and a study of humanity itself on both a personal and global basis. My husband and I enjoyed discussing the role of the little girl and whether she was real or imagined. In fact we watched it a second time, the whole way through, because that and other aspects of the movie haunted us. We’ve never done that before. Everything that occurs make sense, just pay attention! If you’re up for a good drama, lovingly told, you will love this movie.
