I read this book and as an adoptee I am absolutely horrified. It's bad enough some infertile woman thinks she has the right to call herself a mother to us-force on us a fake birth certificate (amended) that says she gave birth to us (while we are legally denied our real birth certificate) but now these delusional women think they have a right to take drugs that are NOT approved for children and are dangerous to babies (Metoclopramide & Domperidone) to create their fake breast milk so they can feel like biological mothers and breastfeed? Are you kidding me? This is totally psychotic. Pushing breastfeeding a baby that isn't yours WHEN YOU HAVE NO MILK NATURALLY (and doing so is NOTHING like being a wet nurse) is also very psychologically damaging to adoptees. This should not be legal and this book should be boycotted along with Schnell's business, Sweet Pea Breastfeeding. Please contact your local legislator to make it illegal for an infertile women to take drugs that are not approved for children (and yes there is a crossover for the baby have no doubt and all babies will get these drugs in their system) and for doctors to prescribe these drugs. Adoption is a totally non-regulated business and it is totally out of control at this point. It has nothing to do with a child needing a home, it has to do with an unstable infertile woman buying a baby for her hurt ego and rage about her dysfunction. Please do not buy this book or support it's subject matter. It's time to stop the insanity called adoption and all the child abuse that goes with it.
