This is a fantastic album whatever the critics say. I love it as much as Astral W. Quite why it is so lowly rated is a mystery to me. The vocal performance throughout is fantastic. Great songs. Why do some say ‘Green’ is not worthy of the album because it is associated with Kermit!? Ranked approx 20th or worse for Van’s albums, I have it in my top 5. A wonderful record.

Not breaking any new ground but I found it very enjoyable . I have always found his work entertaining and this stand up performance was exactly that. Intelligent, sharp and very funny. Not for everyone judging by some reviews but then comedy and comedians never are.
