Couldn’t get beyond the middle of the second episode. What was the plot? Confusing, at least for me.

Acting was good hence the two stars. But too many flashbacks and drawn out.

Excellent series from Spain, probably my favorite. Watched it twice on Antena3.
The acting is superb and the plot is terrific.
I really enjoy historical fiction dramas with romance and El Tiempo Entre Costuras offers this plus more.

The series is so miscast especially the lead role of Selena who looks NOTHING like the real Selena. This actress is way too skinny and light skinned. The episodes are slow moving and often boring. Very drawn out. I understand that there’s going to be a second season. The family is capitalizing on Selena’s short lived fame and Netflix allowed the sister to produce this poorly done production.

Could have told the story in half the episodes. Weak plot.

What a great thriller! Intense and well acted. Kept me glued to the TV for 2 hours!
I’m shocked about the 1 and 2 star reviews from people who said it was either boring or feminist.
Maybe a couple of racy scenes but they were almost necessary to develop the plot.
Is it feminist because she’s the one who hit the promotion? She obviously deserved it because
Of her good judgement vs his suggestions. Shows you how cutthroat the hedge fund traders are.
He’s the one who made a full of himself by going on his knees and begging his boss. It portrayed his weakness and confirmed that he didn’t belong in the firm which was obvious to everyone working there. She tried to help him all along until he called her out in front of her boss and other clients . He was obviously jealous and almost ruined her career. He deserved whatever he got at the end.
I’m no feminist but I believe that women in certain positions are often overlooked even though they are more talented than men. Unless you worked in a corporate cut throat company you wouldn’t understand.
